Aerospace Education
Welcome to the CAWG Group 2 Aerospace Education page!
Our goals for 2008 include conducting quarterly group-wide AE activities for both cadets and senior members. Dates for these events will be posted as they are scheduled.
April 26: Castle Air Museum, Atwater, CA
- 10am-4pm, lunch at museum café.
- Please RSVP by April 17 to Capt Marici Reid, marici@earthlink.net.
- Cost (about $10-12) will include B-36 open cockpit tour, possibly more planes (KC-135, B-29?) depending on attendance.
Some squadrons may be hosting activities that may be of interest to other units. We will try to post those activities here so that interested parties may participate.
This page is intended to be a resource for the squadrons of Group 2 for planning aerospace education activities. It is divided into four sections:
- activities that can be done locally with minimal advance planning
- regularly scheduled events that can be attended
- destinations or activities that may be farther away or take more advance planning
- resources for guest speakers or information.
